Jun 12, 2023 · I heard someone say the follower is different than the Gen 3 and sometimes it doesn't hold open on last round. I have the FDE Dagger and wanting to get the Glock 19 Gen 5 FDE mags for it.. In function, but not color... The Gen 5 FDE mags are very Coyote-brown-ish. I'm still hunting for actual FDE Glock mags. Glock mags actually work better than Magpul Mags. The biggest different I noticed is when the mag loaded full. Abnormally heavy when pulling the slides.I use any Glock OEM or Magpul mags. Gen 3, 4, and 5 OEM Glock 19 mags have all worked great for me, and prefer them over the Magpul that came with my Daggers.
